Why copyright a song when there are only so many chords to play with?
Mathematically, a song I write tonight will be fated to be written again in the future.
Whether or not I ever show it to someone.
Why copyright an image that has already been stolen?
If I painted a chair, I did not create the chair, or the method of painting,
the woodsmith who designed the chair took the design from another.
We cannot own music, and we cannot own art.
We cannot own sound, and we cannot own inspiration.
Just like we cannot own the wind or the sky.
